On Tuesday, Realme launched its latest devices in India: the Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+. These new additions to the Realme 13 series boast impressive display features. Both models come equipped with a large 6.7-inch AMOLED screen offering Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The displays are curved with ultra-thin bezels for a truly immersive viewing experience.
A notable highlight is the display's peak brightness, which can reach up to 2000 nits, ensuring clear visibility even in bright sunlight. Additionally, the screens incorporate an advanced PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) dimming technique with a high frequency of 2160Hz, designed to minimize eye strain during prolonged use, particularly in low-light settings. The devices will be available for purchase on Realme's official website, Flipkart, and in offline stores starting August 6.
Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ Color Options
The Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ come in striking colors: Monet Gold and Emerald Green, with the 13 Pro also available in Monet Purple. The Emerald Green variant boasts a stylish vegan leather finish, while the Monet Gold and Monet Purple versions feature a sleek glass back panel.
Realme 13 Pro And Realme 13 Pro+ Chipset
The new Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. Both models come with up to 12GB of physical RAM, and you can expand this by an additional 12GB using virtual RAM technology. To ensure efficient heat management, the devices feature a sophisticated 9-layer cooling system, which includes a 4500mm² tempered vapor chamber and 9953mm² of graphite.
Each model is equipped with a 5200mAh battery. The 13 Pro+ supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, allowing it to reach a 50% charge in just 19 minutes and a full charge in 49 minutes. The 13 Pro, on the other hand, supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.
Realme 13 Pro And Realme 13 Pro+ Specs, Features, Cameras
These devices come with Android 14 and Realme's custom UI 5.0 pre-installed. Realme promises two major Android OS upgrades and three years of security patches, continuing their support policy from previous Pro series models.
The 13 Pro+ features a cutting-edge camera system, highlighted by a 50MP main camera with Sony's LYT-701 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS) – a first for the series. It also includes a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with Sony's LYT-600 sensor and OIS, offering 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and up to 120x digital zoom. The 13 Pro, however, has a 50MP LYT-600 sensor with OIS for its main camera but lacks the telephoto lens found on the 13 Pro+. Both models come with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front-facing camera.
Realme has incorporated several AI-driven camera features, such as AI Ultra Clarity for improved image resolution, AI Smart Removal, AI Group Photo Enhance, and AI Audio Zoom. The design of these phones is inspired by Monet's artwork, featuring a distinctive glass finish that reflects light in an impressionist style. This is achieved through Realme's "Miracle Shining Craft" technique, which applies numerous reflective particles to high-gloss AG glass.
